It's a restaurant aptly named: Homer, a new Mediterranean restaurant on Beacon Hill, just enjoyed its grand opening. It's actually named after the owner's dog, but it works: Chef Logan Cox, former chef at Sitka and Spruce, features fresh, wood-fired veggies and meats worthy of its own saga. There's even a walk-up window for your convenience.
One of the most unique things about Homer is its ice cream flavors. Vegans, rejoice: they have items you'll love, like vegan nectarine ice cream! There's also fig leaf, which plays well with the restaurant's theme and sounds scrumptious. The restaurant's sleek, simple design makes it both inviting and comfortable, a place for a date as well as a family meal.
