Did you know that in north-central Washington, more than 350 deer are struck by motorists along Highway 97? It's not only a terrible tragedy for these animals, but it's a danger to drivers, and Conservation Northwest has been working to make the road much safer.
From renovating the Janis Bridge to installing fencing to help deter the deer, the organization has made big strides to improve safety in the area but still need more help to continue this important project. We can pitch in to help make sure they get funding here. We can also sign up for updates and important actions to take in the future.
